Fraudulent advert response

The text below is an actual response to a Classified Advert for used mobile phones. The 'Spotting Scam Emails' section will tell you more detail about the tell-tale signs in this response and the 'Overpayment Scam' section will tell you about how the fraud takes place. This email was weeded-out by automatic scam-finder routines guarding the classified site. The text and spelling is verbatim.

• No interest in condition of items
• No mention of sort of items being 'bought'
• Why ask the price? The prices were in the advert - It's a classified listing!
• Payment by 'money order'
• Payment to him (Why does he need payment?) by Western Union (USPS no longer exists)
• Country of seller requested? The advert was in a local website
